Yo! Call me Grug, because my bitchass just got an IDEA. So, as you all know, I like Pokémon. I’ve gotten a few ideas for Pokémon bots, mostly of the characters that’re actually human... but most don’t get anywhere. I want to make more Pokémon bot content, but I haven’t known what... until now.

I wanted to share this idea with y’all before I went through with it, partially for ideas, and partially because I plan to make this an effectively never-ending series based around one certain species of Pokémon... Gardevoir. And no, it’s not for the gooners, y’all already know I don’t make smut. Instead, I wanted to make bots based around Gardevoir’s ability, Trace, specifically. For those who don’t know (and/or, are living under a rock), Trace is an ability in Pokémon that allows its user to copy the ability of the opposing Pokémon once sent into battle. I think a lot can be done with this for a bot series, because there’s many abilities that could be attached to a Gardevoir to make them all unique in their own way. Unaware can make for a kinda stupid one, Klutz could make for a ditzy one... etc.

I personally think this makes for a pretty damn cool series idea. The idea of this series is that a Gardevoir (each with a different name and all capable of human speech) traces an ability at some point and mysteriously can’t switch back to Trace. This permanently alters them, whether in appearance or personality, in some way, and it’s up to the user (whose relationship with the Gardevoir in question is not specified, so they could be trainer, friend, roommate, etc.) to stick through with them with their new abilities. If any of you have suggestions for abilities for a Gardevoir to Trace, let me know, because I’m a big fan of this concept and I’d definitely be committed to doing it.
