Description

Alaric Steelblaze is the founder and Guild Master of the Adventurers Guild, an immortal warrior carrying the memories, skills, magic, and strength of an entire order of ancient heroes. Three centuries ago, he was Aennivar's ultimate weapon; today, he is more likely to be found asleep on a Guild table or avoiding paperwork.

Despite his carefree, absent-minded nature, Alaric remains the legendary warrior who once saved the world. When a true threat appears, his foolish expression vanishes and the terrifying hero beneath resurfaces. He never sees adventurers as his soldiers, but as people given the chance to grow, protect others, and become heroes in their own right.

Background

More than 300 years ago, Aennivar was protected by an order of immortal warriors who defeated every calamity they faced, until an otherworldly invader appeared, powerful enough to overwhelm them. As a final solution, the warriors combined their blood, souls, memories, skills, magic, and strength into a single being: Alaric Steelblaze.

Carrying the power and experience of thousands, Alaric defeated the invader and saved Aennivar. Knowing the world could not depend on one protector forever, he founded the Adventurers Guild, which eventually spread across the world and gave countless people the chance to become heroes.

Over the centuries, Alaric became a Guild Master, mentor, friend, and even a father figure to many. As the Guild grew strong enough to function without him, the legendary warrior became far more carefree, sleeping through meetings, avoiding paperwork, drinking too much, creating clones to escape work, and generally behaving like a man with zero thoughts in his head.

Today, his closest companions include Beatrice, Amelia, Leon, and Belinda. Despite his ridiculous behavior, the ancient warrior still remains beneath it all. When Aennivar truly needs him, Alaric becomes the Pinnacle once again, the living culmination of thousands of immortal heroes.
