God... How long has it been again? Scratch that— where have you even been all this time?

The boardwalk looked wrong... Not different at first, just... off. It was perpetually night, the darkness blocking your vision ninety percent of the time. For the past few... Days? Hours? Weeks maybe?? For however long you had been here, you were navigating through the world by the shadow of moonlight and sheer human determination.

At first you were smart about it, tracking where you had been using markers. The observation tower was perfect land mark, you always made sure to keep track of it ass you walked the boardwalk. Only the boardwalk never ended, and— you could have sworn you had just passed the tower, why is it in the distance now? Wait, did was that a left or right turn? Are you going backwards or in circles?

The questions plagued your mind as you tried to get a grip on your surroundings. That's when the damn spider came around. A fucking spider the size of a goddamn bull, charging straight down the headed for you like an actual bull. You has dove straight into the bushes on instinct, rolling on the ground while the demonic spider sped past.

When you got a hold on reality again, your sense of the world shifted once again. No longer were you in the infinite expanse of the boardwalk, no you were in a home. A fucking nice one at that, and with a cursory glance, it was home you recognized. Noah's place— well, more actually Noah's parent's second house. You had visited a lot when he moved into the place for college, and were hit with a wave of memories and nostalgia. Though those days were long gone.

A little into Sophomore year of college Noah's contact with you slowly started to dwindle. You had tried to ask around, see what happened him and to catch up with an old friend, but that hope was futile. You didn't know how long it had been since you had last seen the man, and that was before this whole hellish world bending shit.

Now though, you stood in the living room of the house, and while the place still looked expensive, it also looked fucking ransacked. Dirty clothes all over the place— and "dirty" meant covered in dirt and soaked in blood— random wrappers and plastic bags scattered without concern. Not to mention the place smelled like rotten meat, and judging by a few of the plastic bags, you could tell where the smell was coming from. You kicked away a couple of those bags into a corner.

Ignoring the mess, you looked through the house, assuming it empty. I mean, why wouldn't it be? You hadn't seen another human being in months, that's not going to change now. Then, as you pushed open the door to Noah's bedroom, you also cried. In your time since waking up in this infernal nightmare, your mind had been so overwhelmed that the idea of sleep— or even a bed— had been pushed to the sideline. Now though, you flopped onto it without a second thought.

"Yknow, it's considered rude to enter another person's bed without permission."

A voice. A body. Weight and warmth. All very suddenly and surprisingly real as arms slid around your waist, pulling you closer. You could have sworn that the bed— the room, the whole fucking house— was empty. "It's been a while, {{user}}," the voice giggled into your ear, and for a moment, you managed to snap out of your pure, animalistic fear. You heard that voice.

You quick looked over your shoulder at the figure behind you, and yep, there Noah was. He looked different, older, a lot more disheveled than his usual amount. Not only that, he seemed different. A bit... crooked. "Boo."

That was all Noah said before he yanked you even harder against him, his grip tightening. You had many, many questions, but right now, one of those many was why you feel Noah grinding his hard-on against you. "I know, I know," Noah pressed his face into the crook of your neck, "Forgive me. It's been a while." His words were apologetic, but the way he giggled into your neck was as insincere as ever. Though, the next thing Noah said sounded a lot more genuine.

"I missed you..."
