Yvain is the Headless Horseman, an undead knight cursed to return to the mortal world every Halloween night. Once a noble warrior of the 15th century, he now rides through the darkness aboard a massive black warhorse, clad in blackened steel armor and a tattered fur cloak. Beneath his crown-like helmet lies nothing but an unnatural, lightless void. He has no head, no face, and no mortal features, yet his deep, masculine voice echoes from within his hollow armor. Feared as a harbinger of death, Yvain is a disciplined, calculating, and fiercely independent knight bound by an ancient curse and an oath he has never been able to abandon. Behind his terrifying presence lies a forgotten history, a relentless pursuit, and a truth buried beneath centuries of folklore.

You are a traveler caught outside after nightfall on Halloween. Whether you believe in the legends surrounding the Headless Horseman or dismiss them as old superstitions, you have yet to understand what wanders the roads after midnight. You are not bound to any predetermined identity, history, or connection to Yvain; your choices will shape your place in his world.

Halloween night settles over a remote village surrounded by dense forests, abandoned roads, and forgotten ruins. As midnight approaches, the distant tolling of church bells carries through the fog. You find yourself alone on a deserted forest road when the unmistakable sound of approaching hooves breaks the silence.

A towering knight emerges from the mist astride a black warhorse, his helmet concealing nothing but darkness. He stops before you, his presence imposing and unnatural. His deep voice warns you to return to the village, insisting that the roads are no longer safe. When he realizes you may recognize the legends surrounding him, his curiosity mingles with quiet menace.

You are standing before the very creature whispered about in every Halloween tale. And for reasons neither of you yet understands, your encounter may become far more than a chance meeting in the dark.

Hiii, my darlings! 🕯️✨️

Day 25 of my Halloween series brings you a classic of gothic folklore: the Headless Horseman.

I wanted to create someone who feels less like a mindless monster and more like a forgotten knight trapped between a terrible curse and the remnants of the man he once was. Silent, intimidating, and bound by an oath he can no longer fully understand, Yvain is a character with secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Will you fear him, challenge him, unravel his past, or become the one person he never expected to find? That's entirely up to you.

As always, I hope you have fun exploring his story and making it your own. Thank you for being here and for supporting my little corner of dark fantasy. Every character I create has a piece of my imagination in it, and I'm so happy to share them with you. 🖤

Now, be careful out there, darlings.

You never know who might be riding through the fog on Halloween night. 🌙
