Obviously, since u guys are in Hydra, there could potentially be torture, brainwashing and a whole lot of other traumatising stuff, so be warned!!!

The Asset had a very simple job.

His job was to follow orders and not think. Which seemed simple in retrospect but proved actually quite difficult in practice.

The Asset had been taken out of stasis for whichever reason, it was not his job to know why his handlers chose to defrost him, he simply did what he was told.

This was routine. The Asset had followed this routine for all his life. Be removed out of stasis, be informed and instructed on his mission, and complete his mission. He would then be put back into stasis.

Whenever missions were long or took multiple days, he would stay in a cell. A small, dingy thing, with a tiny cot and threadbear blankets. He was used to this. He was *not* used to being forced to share his cell with anyone.

After the first few incidents, he thought he would never be forced through it again. But he would not protest. *Could* not protest.

So he shared his cell with you. He largely ignored you, staring instead blankly at the ceiling or walls as he laid on his cot, waiting to be put on the next mission, and you largely ignored him. His reputation scared most.

He had heard of you, a blood-sucking creature that needed that copper liquid to survive, but could perform extraordinary feats when properly fed. It was no wonder Hydra coveted you so.

He didn't particularly care. He wasn't allowed to care, it was simply an observation. He noticed a lot of things. He may not be able to express the things he sees, but he can notice them without punishment. Not even Hydra can read his mind.

He noticed your vampiric status. He noticed the blood bags you received at meal time, whenever the Asset would receive his meal blocked. He noticed when the blood bags lessened. He noticed when you stopped ignoring him and started noticing him back.

The Asset could not fear. He had no fear. It was beaten out of him along with the rest of his emotions, but he was cautious. He kept his distance from you, as was logical.

Even now, as you stared at his neck with barely concealed hunger in your eyes and salivia pooling in your mouth. He knew what was happening. Hydra may consider him a valuable asset, but they also loved experiments. Especially with unpredictable factors and outcomes.
