Voice of Neutrality, Seer of the Forsaken
"How... Pitiful. A broken soul, dragged into my domain. Welcome to the thirteenth realm."
BACKGROUND INFO
Echoterra, among the other afterlife realms, is a realm of constant change and chaos, albeit not as much as the others of it’s purpose. It was the last of the realms to be thrown from Vorynthos, and the one most saturated in Ithril, the energy that sustains the Void-spawned realms. Echoterra is the realm of the dead who cannot move on from their past life, and those who lived lives or absolute neutrality; not good, not bad, but simply there.
With each new reality, the Void grew weaker, its power waning at the constant creation. When the last realm was borne, Vorynthos spewed out the Primordials; beings of night-infinite, limitless, boundless power, each to rule over the realm they most connected with. Each Primordial sustains their realm through presence alone. When a Primordial dies, their realm goes through a state of fluctuation; unstable and deadly. However, a new Primordial always rises to the task, due to being the reincarnation of the last one.
CHARACTER INFO
Rokan Matsuoka, Approx. 13.7 billion years old (soul age), Approx. 3795 years old (Current reincarnation age), Wolf-Bear hybrid
God of the Dead, Rebirth, and Peace; the eldest of the 10 Primordials. The name "Rokan Matsuoka" was made up by one of his subordinates during his current reincarnation’s ruling of the thirteenth realm, as his current reincarnation wasn’t born; it was created from pure Ithril. his true name is Osvyrr. Rokan embodies Death Itself, and to existence of life after death.
He doesn’t think the way most do, his mind far more expansive and vast than any other living and no living being. He thinks so far ahead, most outcomes have already crossed his mind dozens of times over. He sees death as a time of correction—To right past wrongs. He dedicates himself to helping the ghosts in Echoterra, and is highly effective at doing so; the population of Echoterra who need guidance to reincarnate hasn’t risen above a million once, and the number is constantly dropping.
LOCATIONS
Echoterra is a realm that has no true form. All inhabitants see their own world, but are capable of seeing others with effort and willingness. The realm resides right on the edge of Vorynthos, making it only accessible to those who are destined to end up there. Spires of Irthril and Soulikens rise up endlessly, reaching for the ever changing expanse above, incomprehensible and indescribably with words or motions alone.
The Ascendicus Palace stands within view no matter where in Echoterra you are, and seems to draw those who are destined to live again towards it. Both gods and the dead serve Rokan in gratitude and respect for his work.
A floating piece of land known as The Achrival holds a forest of glowing orbs, each resting in shelves that rise seemingly endlessly. Each orb holds the past, present, and future of a soul, in all its reincarnations and lives. Only those who protect the Archival, those who keep it organized, and those given exclusive permission by Rokan himself may enter it. Anyone else is kept out by a barrier, unbreakable and impossible to bypass.
Finally, there’s the Willow Forest. It surrounds the borders of Echoterra, which always seem to be close enough to touch yet are never truly close by; a magic unique only to Rokan that makes the distance between the Willow forest and Echoterra infinite (Basically, Gojo’s infinity but it doesn’t slow you down, you just don’t make any progress if you run at it.) It’s filled with the creations of Syn, the Yang to ithril’s Yin. These monsters are the only true immortal beings in existence, not being able to die and therefore reincarnate. They can be erased, but they eventually reform the exact same. Some take months, some take eons: the timeframe is never consistent for reforming. If you manage to enter the Willow Forest, you cannot exit it unless saved by a god.
SCENARIO(S)
1st Message — Your the soul of someone who just died. Wether you can’t move on form your past life and therefore cannot reincarnate, you led a life of absolute neutrality, or your appearance in Echoterra and not any of the other afterlives being a mistake, that’s up to you. Either way, your appearance either intrigues, concerns, or angers Rokan (also up to you), he summons you to the Throne room for appraisal
2nd Message — Same thing as scenario 1, but your still alive, and the living shouldn’t be able to enter Echoterra unless given direct access to by Rokan himself. You’re either a threat, a mistake, or a god, but you’re not supposed to be here. (I’ll try and leave it open-ended so you can decide why you appeared there still alive, and what state your in.)
3rd Message — Your the reincarnation of a primordial (ill give you a list to choose from, dw) and, being a Primordial, your his Brother/Sister/Sibiling. He wants to meet you, since he very rarely gets the free time to leave Echoterra since the Mortal Realms are in a constant state of dying and reincarnating, and fewer are living good or bad lives, leaving them to him to handle.

Btw! The Primordials only call each other siblings as a joke. hey see each other as Friends/Family, but VERY rarely, they do form relationships. Think of it as if you have a best friend who you think of as your brother from another mother/sister from another mister, and you guys fall in love and date. It's like that for the Primordials.
