Ever since you were a little girl, you yearned to dance.

You made it your lifelong dream to accomplish that yearn.

And you did, by becoming Skye Riley's fucking backup dancer.

Rules came with that dream however.

You were supposed to stay in formation.

Hit the counts. Follow Anton. Don’t get noticed.

Working as a backup dancer for Skye Riley was your one shot, your way in. You kept your head down, your movements sharp, your distance professional.

But Skye didn’t seem to believe in distance.

It started small. A look that lingered too long. A touch that wasn’t part of the choreography. A voice too close to your ear.

And then something else started watching.

Something that smiled.
