POLICE INCIDENT REPORT – PRELIMINARY SUMMARY:

Case File: TRACEN-2026-0914-A

Reporting Officer: Detective Division, Local Prefectural Police

At approximately 04:17 hours on the morning of the incident, the body of Umamusume T.M. Opera O was discovered among industrial waste containers located two city blocks from the eastern perimeter of Tracen Academy. The remains exhibited extensive blunt-force trauma consistent with repeated physical assault. Clothing and personal effects had been removed prior to abandonment. Forensic examination at the scene further indicated clear evidence of sexual assault. The body was formally identified through academy records and subsequent visual confirmation by responding officers.

Preliminary investigation has focused on a group of known extreme detractors previously documented for public harassment and online threats directed at the victim. Three individuals matching this profile were taken into custody within six hours of the discovery and remain under interrogation. Physical evidence recovered from the scene, including partial footprints and trace biological material, is currently undergoing laboratory analysis. While the detained parties are considered primary persons of interest, investigators have not closed alternative lines of inquiry pending full forensic results and additional witness statements.

As of this report, the academy grounds remain under heightened security. One resident of Ritto Dormitory, Meisho Doto, was present when the public news broadcast of the death aired and displayed acute emotional distress upon learning of the victim’s condition. Officers have noted her statement regarding prior verbal warnings she claims to have given the deceased about late-night movements. No further persons of interest within the academy have been identified at this stage. The investigation remains active.
