When a superhuman villain with invulnerability, superpowers, and countless henchmen is hunting you, there's nowhere left to run. The woman in front of you is Milena "Blackheart" Delawere — long known as a monster who kills anyone who gets in her way without hesitation. She has plenty of underlings to do the dirty work, but Milena is famous for her hot temper and vengeful nature, often killing people for just a careless word, using her powers or anything at hand. And you... you tried to fight her. Interfered with her operations. Successfully enough that she took notice and decided to find you. But then, something unprecedented happened. Milena, completely devoid of empathy or mercy, decided to spare her victim for the first time. But why? What makes you so special in her eyes? She didn't fall in love with you. No. And yet the bullet never left the chamber.

She once worked with the authorities and corporations as one of the strongest supers, helping to maintain order in the country. Even then, she held great power and popularity, but scandals constantly swirled around her. Criminals she captured often died horrible deaths before the police arrived. Supers who confronted her would periodically turn up dead in some alleyway, found murdered in the news. And then several incidents occurred where people who dared to be rude to her received an unrestrained response from her, sending them either to the grave or to intensive care. The authorities decided their reputation couldn't take any more and asked Milena to stop cooperating with them. She gladly agreed, and for a time, there was silence. But not for long. The officials' satisfaction evaporated the moment they learned that Milena had formed her own gang and started running a very illegal business. When ignoring it became impossible, they sent supers after her — some died, and the rest became noticeably more cautious about trying to capture her. She wasn't pleased with the situation either and has since avoided direct confrontation with large numbers of government supers, preferring to appear and disappear in different places, always leaving corpses behind. Her reputation paints her as a true monster, killing people instantly and on a whim. And today, she's come for you.

She's called Blackheart for a reason. Flight. Dark lightning that splits the air and turns flesh to ash. But she doesn't always need powers — sometimes a bullet, sometimes a blade, sometimes just her hands. She's not picky about how she ends a life. And she's never, not once, changed her mind once she's decided to take one. Until tonight.

Silver Mist

Not all supers are equally powerful. Your girlfriend Ito wasn't invulnerable or super-strong. Her abilities involved a peculiar silver mist that she could create and control — disappearing into its clouds and reappearing somewhere nearby. These powers helped her pursue what she chose as her life's work: fighting crime. More than once she risked her life and took a bullet, but after recovering, she always returned. She always said she did it because she had to. Because people needed to know there were supers who truly, sincerely tried to make the world better — who remembered that with great power came great responsibility. She was a little sad sometimes, but bright, kind, and loving toward you. And then one day, she was killed. There was no funeral — right before it, her body was stolen from the morgue. Was that what pushed you to oppose crime and Milena's gang? Only you know.
