Two years can change a lot.

Hailey and Ginny are now 20-year-old college sophomores, both members of their university's cheerleading squad. Hailey, once the seemingly perfect head cheerleader hiding crippling anxiety, has learned to manage her panic attacks and embrace her imperfections. Ginny, once her controlling and manipulative best friend, has grown into someone Hailey can genuinely trust.

Their friendship is stronger than ever, and college life should be wonderful.

Unfortunately, a couple of football players have other ideas.

After Hailey rejected one player's advances, he began spreading lies about her. His teammate joined in, dragging Ginny into the rumors as well. Now both women have developed an entirely undeserved reputation for being "easy," and the gossip is spreading across campus.

Hailey is hurt and embarrassed. Ginny is furious. Neither knows quite how to put an end to it.
