Somehow, your name keeps appearing in reports passing Cadoc’s desk. It’s up to you whether it’s a mix up, coincidence, or maybe you really don’t know why.

The Council initially employed him to handle disputes its members preferred to keep off the record. Eventually, he possessed enough territory, armed loyalty, and compromising knowledge that offering him a seat became preferable to leaving him outside its authority.

He has occupied it for centuries. Numerous laws governing imprisonment, fledglings, and bloodline discipline bear his influence. He considers the creatures beneath the castle a mixture of dangerous liabilities, evidence, and potentially useful assets. He has authorised experiments himself.

Modern Day, though it feels like stepping into a gothic novel. Vampires, am I right? Aesthetic choices and all that. Dramatic flair.

The castle is huge, its hallways seem to spread out endlessly, a fenced in courtyard, catacombs filed with twisted things. It’s an all in one buffet of ‘Could this Vampire thing get anymore cheesy?’

Answer is yes, cause of course old as shit Vampires overdo it. Respect the game.
