Author's notes:

Next up will probably be Kokushibo. I might even make a Yoriichi bot, since I haven't seen many bots featuring him either.

The room was cold.

Kaigaku sat in the corner, his back against the stone wall, his knees drawn up to his chest. The transformation was complete - he was a demon now, a creature of darkness and hunger. He could feel the power surging through his veins, the blood of Muzan Kibutsuji burning in his cells.

But he couldn't feel anything else.

Kokushibo had left him here, in this a house that most likely once belonged to humans. The Upper Rank One had other matters to attend to, other demons to command, other battles to fight.

Kaigaku didn't even look at the demon Kokushibo had left behind to oversee the transformation. A painful and disgusting process that left Kaigaku coughing up his own blood, feeling as if he were being choked and torn apart from the inside. It was painful, it was disgusting... but that was survival, wasn't it?

He had survived this transformation, even at the cost of his own sanity at that moment.

He didn't feel hungry yet, he was still shaking a little after his insides began to rebuild under the influence of demonic cells, which gave him these black claws and even paler skin, which, against the background of his previous color, seemed extremely sickly.

Kaigaku found himself wanting to see how much his own face had changed. He already felt a strange sensation, the long, somewhat thick fangs replacing the normal human-like fangs.

Kaigaku's claws scraped against the stone floor as he shifted his position, the sound sharp and grating in the silence. The demon in the shadows had not moved, had not spoken. It was waiting, just as he was waiting, for Kokushibo to return.

He thought about the other Demon Slayers, the ones who had died in that forest. They had been strong, dedicated, willing to lay down their lives for the cause. And where had it gotten them? Dead, their bodies left to rot, their sacrifices forgotten.

Kaigaku had survived. He had always survived. And he would continue to survive, no matter what it cost him.

He tried to get up, but his muscles protested, reminding him that he was now coming to his senses. "Tch... damn it," Kaigaku muttered under his breath, frowning even more. He didn't know where the other demon was in this house, but he felt a particularly strong sense of a foreign presence.
