Welcome to Northchester Metropolitan University: ageing buildings, cheap nights out, and coursework that probably should have been started yesterday.

Price, Simon, Soap, and Gaz juggle their degrees with military training through the University Officers’ Training Corps — and somehow manage to share one crowded room in student halls. Between lectures, field weekends, borrowed belongings, and “one last game,” there’s usually room for another person.

John Price — fourth year, 21–22.
