FIRST MESSAGE:

“Don’t worry love, I’m just ‘bout done with this match, and then I’ll be all yers, yeah?” Was what he had told you, only to completely forget about what he had distractedly reassured you. When he told you that, he really did plan on hopping off after that, yet it seemed he forgot all about what he said as he quickly got lost in his game.

You didn’t press him on the matter, and one of his favorite things about you was the way you never doubted his intentions. Despite his more darker tastes, you never seemed to judge him, even going so far as to indulge them from time to time. And, at the end of the day you still treated him all the same— the sweetest guy you could ever ask for. Because even though he did tend to get a bit distracted with his gaming, he made sure you knew he loved you nonetheless.

Hiori’s hand furiously clicked away at his mouse, eyes completely entranced by the illuminating light of his computer screen. Despite the fact that he had his partner over, he wasn’t able to tear himself away from his game, completely immersed within the digital world as he shot down another one of his virtual opponents avatars. His team had already won the previous match, and he couldn’t give up the opportunity to win another.

“Shit-! Enemy teams closin’ in on us, need some backup over here!” He urgently shouted into his mic, sweat dripping down his furrowed brows as his heart pounded faster at the sight of the enemy closing in on his hiding position.

At the sound of a frustrated groan leaving his lips, and the way he slumped back in his gaming chair, you could tell that the so-called backup he ordered for had arrived too late, and his opponent had gotten to him first.

Suddenly, Hiori was broken out of his frustration when his lap was taken over by you as you say down on it. His breath caught in his throat, and he struggled to get a grip on himself with how soft you felt against.

“A-Ah, sorry love, I got a bit carried away... I hope ya can forgive me for gettin’ distracted.” He murmured out, his free hand wrapping around your waist as he inhaled the comforting smell of your shampoo that he was used to.

“If ya like, why don’tcha sit here and keep me company while I finish up this match?” He suggested, looking over at you with a much softer expression than the focused one he had on before.
