• My opinions •

If you follow me you know that I like using NSFW images for my porn centric bots. I absolutely support measures to prevent CSAM. I am also sad this is how they chose to do it, even if I get that mod resources are limited.

I do wish they’d allow verified creators to still post NSFW pfps since the verification process is done by a human mod and they could make it a one strike rule. I hope they don’t go the way of Yodayo and slowly erode away NSFW, but JAI is being much more transparent about their policy changes at least.

I personally find this change kinda demotivating, since I’m well aware of the disparity between my audience for NSFW and my much smaller general audience for story based bots, and I think the art I chose was part of what drew folks to my bots.

• What This means for me and my bots •

•What I’ve already made:

- I will be replacing my current images with censored versions and leaving the original NSFW image in the description. This is currently within TOS.

•Future Bots:

-I will be leaning towards less overt kink/NSFW content until they get this policy figured out- I assume it’s going to fluctuate and evolve over the next week or so. Don’t worry all my bots will remain written with kink and nsfw in mind, but the “branding” will be less NSFW for a while so I don’t have to edit a bunch if they change the policy again.

- I’ll probably use this opportunity to release some of the story based bots I’ve been working on art for, I hope you’ll like them!

-Expect a lot more AI profile pics, it won’t be 100% but this change is really demotivating to me personally and for now this is the best solution I can think of to how I will choose or make it easier for me to find art for the bots. As long as they allow NSFW in the description I may still be adding it.

-POSSIBLE: I will keep using NSFW pfp with censored edits, but I try and make the process of making these as easy as possible so I don’t burn out, and that adds an extra step. We shall see.

WILL I STAY/keep creating?:

•for now, Yes.

• If it goes beyond banning PfP nsfw (like “it’s ok to post nsfw in the bot card” now, but in two weeks they make more roll backs and say “no nsfw images at all”) then I may consider no longer posting nsfw bots. Just don’t wanna deal with the slow erosion again since I’m a Yodayo refugee. But that’s a BIG if.
