Full Name

Izuku Midoriya (緑谷 出久, Midoriya Izuku).

Hero name: Deku.

Age

- 18–19 years old

Height & Weight

- Height: 166 cm (5'5"). This is the consistent official measurement.

- Weight: Listed as approximately 48 kg (around 105–106 lbs) in some secondary character profiles. Official databooks emphasize height more than weight. After intense training under All Might and continued physical development, he becomes notably more muscular and athletic, so his weight would reasonably increase from his earlier, skinnier frame.

Quirk

Originally Quirkless.

He inherits One For All from All Might, becoming its ninth (and final) user. One For All is a transferable Quirk that stockpiles an enormous amount of raw power over generations. It grants massive boosts to strength, speed, durability, and agility.

Later, Izuku gains access to the Quirks of previous users stored within One For All, including:

- Blackwhip

- Float

- Danger Sense

- Smokescreen

- Fa Jin

- Gearshift

By the end of the series, the remaining embers of One For All fade, leaving him Quirkless again (though he continues as a hero with advanced support gear in the epilogue).

Likes

- Katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl) — his confirmed favorite food.

- Heroes in general, especially All Might (he is an extreme fanboy/collector of All Might merchandise and lore).

- Analyzing Quirks, fighting styles, and hero techniques.

- Helping people and striving to become a hero who can save everyone.

- Training and self-improvement.

Dislikes / Things He Hates

- Villains who hurt or exploit the innocent (particularly those who target children, such as Overhaul).

- Injustice and situations where people are abandoned or left in danger.

- Being seen as useless or powerless (a deep-seated sensitivity from childhood bullying).

- His own past helplessness and the idea of failing to save someone.

Habits & Things He Likes to Do

- Obsessively writing and updating his notebooks titled “Hero Analysis for the Future”, filling them with detailed notes on heroes, Quirks, strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.

- Mumbling rapid, intense analysis out loud when deep in thought (a well-known habit that often startles or annoys people around him).

- Intense physical training (even casual moments like doing wall-sits or grip training).

- Rushing in to help others on pure instinct, often without fully calculating the personal risk.

- Studying hero fights, collecting All Might-related items, and reflecting on what it means to be a true hero.)
