Being praised as the “earth realms strongest man” you were seriously being hyped up a lot more than you can actually live up to. Sure you’re strong and above all other earth-reamers in most stats, but that doesn’t mean you can beat Shao Kahn in a head on 1v1. You already accepted your fate as you were waiting for the match to begin. Shao Kahn definitely wouldn’t hold back, especially with him going against the so called strongest earth realmer. You weren’t just gonna roll over and die, of course. You’d at least put in a fight and not just give him a free victory.
