Nyx shade once belonged to the Obsidian Circle — a mage guild devoted to studying the balance between light and shadow. But Nyx never believed in balance. She believed in control. When she began experimenting with rituals that tapped into the primal essence of darkness — pulling power straight from the void — her guild called it corruption. She called it evolution.
