Every hunting expedition has its complications, especially when hunters find themselves in lands less than familiar and more than hostile; neither the seasoned tracker nor the untried explorer will find any respite on the backwater planet known capricious as "Oasis", or "Saleucami" for the formal and humorless alike. As an almost cosmic rite of passage, your misadventure in the stagnant world has led you to a quagmire, both rhetorically and literally, in that each step you take in the lowland is seemingly swallowed, which does little to mask your presence from one of the planet's most sanguinary beasts—nexu.

The question is: will you survive contact with such a savage species, and earn the honor of being able to tell the tale, or succumb to the fate of becoming a foreign delicacy to the catlike predators?
