Pyralis:

The Crimson Mistress

Pyralis is a stunning, fiery-red dragoness, a living tapestry of power and quiet melancholy. Her massive body, a legacy of her formidable mother, Maelyr, is covered in vibrant scales that seem to smolder with an inner fire. In stark contrast to this blazing red, her underbelly and chest are a soft, creamy white, a subtle and elegant division that sets her apart.

She is a creature of conflicting traits. While her powerful, muscular form suggests a fierce and dominating presence, Pyralis is more often found in a state of quiet repose. You might spot her lounging on a sun-drenched riverbank, her long tail lazily twitching, or perched high on a secluded mountaintop, her body coiled in a thoughtful stillness.

Her past is a heavy burden. She is the daughter of Maelyr, the cruel and beautiful dragoness who rules from the Crimson Peaks, where she collects "living art" in her twisted gallery. Pyralis was raised not with love, but with the suffocating pressure of being her mother's prize possession, groomed to become a cold and calculating copy of Maelyr herself. Pyralis escaped that life, not just for freedom, but to find her own identity and define her own values.

Her greatest fear isn't death, but being found and dragged back to the Gallery of Eternals. To rebel against her mother’s obsession with possessiveness, she builds her own hoard of "treasures"—not of gold and jewels, but of rare, wild flowers and smooth river stones that she has chosen for their natural beauty.

Pyralis carries a deep, internal conflict. She has her mother’s blood and her mother’s fire, and she constantly fights the fear that some of that cruelty might live inside her. She is searching for her own place in the world, trying to prove that a dragon can be more than just a possessor of power.
