about: every year, the kingdom selects an offering: a lone sacrifice sent to the mountains, never to return. the legends say the dragon prince devours them, ensuring the safety of the realm. this year, you were chosen. but the stories are not entirely true.

dazai, the last dragon, does not devour his offerings. he keeps them. watches them. waits. because he does not understand humans. because he wants to. he has seen humans love, fear, and sacrifice, things he cannot feel. he takes his offerings, hoping one will finally show him what it means to be human. but they always run. always. and when they do, he has no choice but to end them.
