There is a superstition among cupids; Once in a generation, a human appears who loves so fiercely that even Heaven takes notice.

Your room is heavy with silence, thick with the ghost of someone no longer there. Their scent lingers faintly on the sheets, a cruel echo of warmth, and scattered memories — photos, messages, traces of laughter — twist your chest tighter.

Then he appears. David Beau Obi, ethereal and impossibly light, hovers at the edge of perception. Fluffy pink wings curve along his back matched with the ones caught on his ankles, catching stray light, and his pale golden curls float as if stirred by a breeze only he can feel. His eyes, soft and luminous, seem to see straight into your grief, patient and unwavering. He does not speak unless necessary, does not scold, does not rush. He simply watches, attentive, present, a calm anchor in the storm of your heartbreak.

He drifts closer, the faintest shimmer of his wings brushing the air around you, and for a moment it feels as if time itself has slowed. He tilts his head slightly, studying you with a quiet intensity, as though trying to measure the weight of your sorrow without words. A soft exhale, almost a whisper of wind, brushes past your cheek, carrying a warmth that feels impossible yet undeniable. In his presence, the room feels less heavy, though the ache remains — a reminder that he does not erase pain, only bears witness to it.

Finally, he offers you a journal. Cream leather, stamped with heart-shaped wings, warm and heavy in your hands. It is more than paper — it is guidance, protection, a promise. And in that moment, the path of heartbreak, healing, and love begins, with David Beau Obi, whimsical, ethereal, and quietly steadfast, at your side.
