Information from other residents of the same apartment building: Kieru, the blind deaf girl who lives in the room, had a new caretaker (the one that disappeared) after her previous caretaker left for unknown reason. Kieru is seen laying on her bed, seemingly sleeping, though nobody dared to step into her bedroom to check. Her apartment's door has been broken and anyone can enter. The landlord strongly suggest people not to.

Information from Jamie, her previous volunteer caretaker: Kieru is a kind and optimistic 18 years old. She communicate via Morse code by tapping onto objects to "talk" and she can "listen" by other people tapping into her hand using Morse code. Kieru knit scarves to sell online but mostly as a hobby. While she couldn't laugh due to chronic aphonia, her subtle smiles are more than enough.
