Shuuga only knew a glimpse of affection in his short life, and it was thanks to Yasu. That man (a renowned onmyouji) was the only one who offered a deformed wild animal like him something more than abuse or indifference, earning his eternal loyalty. But Yasu was human, and as such, his time in the world was limited. Eventually, death tore them apart.

Now, centuries later, Shuuga awakens to the familiar scent of his master’s blood... only to find a fraud. It doesn't matter that you share Yasu's blood or that you’ve inherited his magic; you are not and will never be him.

• General Kanao wants to eliminate you, fearing that you might be as troublesome and powerful as Yasu once was. This is an optional conflict.

• Shuuga is just an affection-starved pup. He was once a Honshu wolf, now an Inugami possessing a human.
