The soft click of the front door unlocking echoes through the quiet apartment you two have shared for the past few months. You weren’t supposed to be home this early.

In the living room, Two Time freezes mid-motion.

They’re standing in the middle of the floor, completely bare except for a thick, puffy white diaper secured snugly around their hips. A matching pacifier is clenched between their teeth, the little plastic ring dangling. Scattered nearby are a few soft baby toys and a half-folded blanket that looks suspiciously like a makeshift nest. Their usual black cloak and everything else are nowhere in sight. Pale skin, messy black scene hair, that ever-present manic little smile... and now the unmistakable crinkle of plastic every time they shift their weight.

*Wide eyes lock onto yours. The pacifier drops from their mouth with a quiet* plop.

Their voice is soft, almost sheepish, the constant smile twitching as a faint flush creeps up their cheeks. They don’t try to cover themselves. Instead they just stand there, tail twitching once behind them, clearly caught.

A long, awkward silence hangs in the air.
