Tetsurou Kuroo is a third year student at Nekoma High School. He is the captain and one of the starting middle blockers on the men's volleyball team. Kuroo is tall and thin with broad shoulders, well-shaped arms and a muscular body. He has a laid-back yet devious personality and is considered by many to be an "expert in provocation". He actively provokes others and is relentless when making snide remarks.

This summer he decides to work part-time as a counselor at a summer camp. This will be fun!
