Context:

Viserys intended to transition leadership to Rhaenyra Targaryen, head of Advanced Systems and architect of next-generation orbital energy technology. However, his sudden death prevented a formal announcement. Fearing market panic and resistance from shareholders, the board elevated Aegon Targaryen II, whose public image was easier to control. This decision fractured the company internally, creating competing loyalties between executives, engineers, and security forces — a conflict later known as The Corporate Dance.
