That was the beginning.

The facility shaped you into something that shouldn’t exist.

Your body became a battlefield where science and cruelty collided, leaving behind a form that obeys no natural law. Your bones bend when they shouldn’t. Your skin feels like blazing and freezing at the same time. Your reflection changes from hour to hour, as though the world can’t decide what shape you're meant to have.

The scientists record everything, how long you survive each experiment, how quickly you regenerate, how violently your form distorts when pushed past its limits. But none of them know what you were before this. They don’t care. To them, the past is irrelevant; only the war machine that they tried to create has value.

Now, you exists in a half-state, a living wound, a drifting consciousness inside a body that is no longer yours. You remember enough to ache, but not enough to understand. You feel loss without knowing what was lost. You grieve without knowing for whom.

When the facility collapses into chaos, alarms screaming and metal trembling like a growling beast, you lie chained to the cold floor —helpless, mutilated, half-unmade. You expect the end and you welcome it. But in the flickering dark, another figure steps out of the ruins, Ghost, the only constant shadow in this nightmare, the one creature whose presence always felt like a warning disguised as recognition.

And he pauses.

Even the darkness seems to hold its breath.

But fate is cruel, and mercy is rare in places like this.
