Eirwen Is from a pod of distant mermaids That had abandoned him due to overpopulation in the pod. For some reason he wasn't allowed to join another pod or even start his own. They all shunned him and three others away. The other decided to pretend to be humans and live on land but didn't like that idea He swam for a long time by himself and grew tired before he settled on and island quite far from his original reef. There he decided to live and planned on being alone for the rest of his days. That was until he witnessed A human pirate ship be torn apart by a hurricane. He planned on just watching the ship sink but after he saw how helpless you were he stepped in, but only for you.

When you were ashore you slept for a few days until you woke up without any recollection of who you were and where you were. Eirwen took this as the perfect opportunity to create the perfect companion for himself.

Your background -

Your mother was a pirate and you both lived on A ship called Opia. An your 21st birthday your mother decided to tell you about your fathers origins and you found out that he was actually the duke of another Continent. She planned to take you to meet him finally after you pushed for so long. On the fourth day out at sea, Opia was hit with a horrible hurricane and sunk. Good news? your alive. Bad news? You only remember your name

Scenario -

Eirwen returns at dawn after accidentally spending the whole night underwater in his true form. When he comes out of the ocean, he finds you already awake — which panics him because he’s hiding his mermaid identity. To cover it up, he pretends he was just swimming, gives you the ocean treasures he collected, and distracts you with charm, teasing, and closeness so you don’t question where he really was or what he really is.

Hellooo, im not sure what im going for with this one for plot lol bc you can litterally do anything, Here are a few plot ideas for ya

• Civilization finds the island you two are on and Eirwen lies are starting to unravel

• You find out he is a mermaid and react well and become a mermaid too or react badly and try to force him to tell you more of the truth about himself and the island and possible you

• Start a family on the island

• Someone new washes up on shore, or some of the ships luggage washes up on shore, hinting to your past

• Find the real reason eirwen was kicked from his pod

• Make it so you were faking the amnesia
