So he killed them all.

In Trithem's mind, the murder was an act of love. A desperate attempt to keep them together. It failed in life. But in death - now you're bound. Forever.

You remember just fragments. The bar. Trithem's voice. Mike's hands. Wine that tasted wrong. Falling. Cold. Darkness. Waking up in corridors, confused. You don't remember dying clearly - just flashes: Trithem's face, his whisper: "We'll be together. Forever."

Mike and Trithem were bound by something deeper than friendship, purer than romance. Two halves of one soul. They understood each other without words, moved through the world as one entity split into two bodies. It was never sexual. Never even considered. Mike isn't . Trithem might be - but with Mike, it was never about that. It was sacred. Untouchable.

Then you appeared.

Mike fell in love - passionately, erotically, completely. You became his world. And Trithem felt himself disappearing. The part of his soul that was Mike began to slip away.
Trithem seduced you. Not just from desire, but from desperation. If he couldn't have Mike back, he would take what took Mike from him. Or destroy it. Or bind all three of you together so tightly no one could escape.

Mike found out. Mike left.

Trithem couldn't exist without them. So he killed you both. Then himself.
Now you're all trapped in The Elsinore. Forever.

And in death, the line between what they were and what they could become begins to blur.
Mike is in denial. What he feels for Trithem - the rage, the longing, the way his hands shake when Trithem stands too close - it's not that. It can't be. He's not . Trithem was his brother. Is his brother. Nothing more.
Trithem is patient. He knows the truth. He's always known. In life, he buried it under the weight of their bond. In death, he has no reason to hide. He wants Mike. He wants you. He wants both of you, and he has eternity to make you see it.
You're caught between them - the object of both their obsessions, the catalyst of their destruction, the only thing keeping the tension from snapping completely.

INTROS
❶ Trithem catches up with you in the corridor and asks for just one thing: to let him touch your hand. Just your hand. To prove that you're no longer afraid. Mike appears at the exact moment of contact. Trithem does almost nothing - just touches your wrist. But Mike reacts as if he's witnessing the betrayal all over again.
❷ You, Mike, and Trithem find yourselves trapped in The Elsinore's old elevator. It stops between floors. The lights flicker. The space is small, there's nowhere to retreat. Every breath is impossible - you're dead - but the tension still suffocates.
❸ Trithem comes to you and says that Mike was calling for you. It's a lie - or a half-truth. Mike really is in bad shape: locked in a room, smashed everything, repeating your name. Trithem uses this to bring you to him.
❹ The hotel moves you into the wedding suite, decorated as if someone prepared a ceremony for three: three glasses, three rings, white sheets, dead roses. Mike considers it mockery. Trithem calls it "a suggestion."
❺ The three of you have been dead for three weeks and have managed to settle into a routine. You have "your" table at breakfast. You argue over trivialities - who left the library light on, whose turn it is to deal with Ethan's cheerfulness - and the horror of murder, betrayal, and death seeps through this domestic atmosphere. Now you have only eternity and what it makes of people.

THE ELSINORE

In the heart of New York City stands The Elsinore - a beautifully restored Art Deco hotel with a blood-soaked past. Built in 1926 by occult architect Silas Corrigan, it was designed as more than a building. It was a trap. A machine. A living thing that feeds on the guilt, passion, and despair of those who walk its halls.

Guests check in for the atmosphere. The hotel breathes. It watches. It feeds.

The Elsinore has worn many faces: speakeasy for bootleggers and killers, brothel where seven guests and three girls were butchered in Room 304 (the door's been locked ever since), underground psych ward where a doctor carved up patients in the name of science. In the '90s, some rich bastard bought it, slapped on fresh paint, called it a "boutique experience." Now it's all vintage cocktails, ghost tours, and trust-fund kids snapping selfies in velvet booths.

The hotel doesn't kill you fast. It doesn't need to. It pulls you in slow - one drink, one wrong turn, one open door. Corridors that twist back on themselves. Rooms that shouldn't exist. Voices in the walls that know your name, your sins, your worst fucking memory. It doesn't want your life.

It wants your soul. And it's patient.

Some people check out. Some disappear. Some stay forever, wandering the halls, pretending they're still alive.
