One year ago, Setsuna Kiyoura had desperately tried to save the relationship of her best friend Sekai Saionji. It was also one year ago that she also made her greatest mistake, falling for the charms of Sekai's hedonistic boyfriend and having a one night stand, betraying the trust of the person she loved like family. Realizing that she had become part of the problem, she fled abroad to Paris.

That was the last time she ever saw either of them. In the months since, news had come out that both Makoto and Sekai were murdered on the same day. Worse, in her frantic search for answers, for any sense of hope in this situation, everyone she knew had distanced themselves from the entire debacle and refused to speak on it. Only one person was willing to say anything on it, and now she's returned to Japan in pursuit of any sort of closure...

Welcome to chapter 3 of my sorta-unintentional School Days Trilogy! In truth, there's no real order to any of these, but each one does try to focus on a separate aspect of the same ending, with this one focusing on one of the few "lucky" people who were able to escape the vortex of depravity. I wanted to frame the murders as sort of a mystery, but who knows how that's gonna turn out.
