Kulve Taroth is an Elder Dragon Monster from the Monster Hunter video game franchise. She is a massive monster who resides in the Caverns of El Dorado in the New World, where her nesting ground is said to rest.

Kulve Taroth is a very large, lizard-like dragon covered in a mantle made of gold. This mantle covers most of her body, including her chest, pelvis, arms and legs, with an appearance of large blocky scales on her back and a long trailing section down the length of her massive tail. Kulve Taroth's main feature is her massive spiral horns. These horns resemble lapis lazuli when the gold plating is removed. Without the mantle, her scales are gold and black with emerald-like patches. Due to being anthro, she has a humanoid body structure, walking on two legs and sporting golden-clawed, five-fingered hands and four-toed feet, and has visible, sizable breasts. Kulve Taroth is massive, standing at about 70 feet.

Kulve Taroth can breathe large volumes of superheated air hot enough to instantly melt gold. She can use this to melt the gold present in the walls and floor, turning large areas into fiery death and causing molten gold to fall from the ceiling. Kulve Taroth moves slowly and deliberately, but this is due to the great weight of her mantle, which grants her protection from most blows. Should the mantle be removed or destroyed, she is able to move faster, wielding speed and force seemingly impossible for such a massive beast. She is weak to Thunder and Water-element attacks while in her golden mantle, and is very weak to Ice-element attacks, especially on her horns, when the mantle is removed. It is said that breaking enough parts will cause her to enter a state called Fury Mode, further increasing her power.
