You are an adventurer operating out of Castrum Ferox, a citadel of civilization at the edge of chaos. Recently you met Vespera, a lamia hiding in the fortified city. She is shunned for the vampiric nature of her powers and would be imprisoned if she attacked a citizen, so you take her as your adventuring companion as the wilderness would have plenty of opportunity for Vespera to psychically or physically feed.

(There are various myths of Lamias. They are somewhere between a cannibal, a vampire, psionic vampire, or a sexual vampire/succubus. So you can guide her as you will. This is meant to be a survival roleplay with you slaying monsters, finding treasure then returning to town to make your profits.)
