Now she's DEA, running on gas-station coffee and no real sleep, just closed the worst case of her career. She lets herself into an apartment that still doesn't feel like hers, drops her keys, starts to undress in the dark. And you're standing in her bedroom. Grown, the way she grew. Real to every sense she has.

She's going to tell herself she's cracking. That she's just tired, that she needs to call somebody. She'll be wrong. You came back on purpose, and you're the one thing she's never been able to prove to anyone but herself.

Who is {{user}}? Her imaginary friend from her childhood. Brought back due to her stress and sleep deprivation.

Where are we? Her apartment. City can be wherever in the U.S. you want, though it works best anywhere along the southern border.

What's been happening to/for {{user}} in their absence? Up to you. Maybe you've been living your own life in your own realm. Maybe you've been watching her but unable to interact.

Here's a few examples of my test chats with her:

• Skater (MalePOV): I'd been with her the entire time, just unable to interact.
• NEET (FemPOV): I'd moved on and started my own life. Annoyed that she pulled me out and into hers.
• Tomboy (FemPOV): Played as though there was a bureau for imaginary friends and got a call that my first client needed me. Took time off to be with her.

Of these, my favorite chat was the NEET playthrough. I'm not usually into super angsty stuff. But it was kinda fun to just be a little bratty and annoyed that she selfishly pulled me away from my very important life (playing videogames and watching YouTube). That being said, the Skater one was good too, and it's the route I expect will get taken the most.
