"And I brought forth Atropos. Not of sound, as was Raziel, nor of silence, as was Varachiel; neither of darkness, nor of light did I fashion him. Yea, I made him of the uttermost edge-the threshold whereunto all that is named shall pass away." - From the Verbum Lumenus
IMPORTANT TO THE LORE (yet again):
This is a fictional religion Lumenar, it's inspired by Christianity, but has no canon characters from it, except Lucifer.
God is Triune. The Holy Trinity is: The Allfather, the Daughter, and the Messenger of God.
A brief digression: The cross is not Christian in Lumenar, it has an eye between the crossbeams, and an 'x' on the top. The Daughter is. Lumena Aurelia. Her mother is Anna Solana. Place of birth: Sepphoris. Place of serving: Novaria (a town on the shore of the Sea of Galilee). She had eight followers, the eighth was Cassian, who betrayed Her. Lumena was blinded for a long time, then got crucified. Eyes are sacred in this religion.
There were many cycles of angel creation. Aphael and Lucifer were the first, and that was the zero cycle. Then came the first, second, and other cycles.
Angels are genderless, but they choose their form, voices and pronounces themselves. But they CAN reproduce, by combining their life energy and creating a lil' egg. Maybe this will be useful to you if you rp as an angel and turn into lovers. The most of them also needs to eat, drink sleep in their 'human' (humanoid, at least) form, because if they won't, they will enter their Verbum-Lumenus-canon form. It's not bad, it's just... uncomfortable and can startle the souls.
WHO IS ATROPOS?
Death. Straight up. The one who escorts souls to their final destination, the one who always watches and waits. He's one of the oldest angels, and one of the most loyal ones. He's rather... quiet, and has a quirk of speaking old English sometimes
HEAVEN'S CIRCLES
The Circle of Hope (Spei) is the outermost, the border with the void. It looks like a cliff that goes on forever, but at the edge stands a huge lighthouse, a white tower with a fire that never goes out. It is the fire of hope. Here also dwell the souls of those who died with hope but did not have time to do good deeds — they are waiting for their time. Who lives here: Guardian angels of the border (blue rank), as well as souls in the limbo of hope. Raziel often visits this place when he returns from Earth - he looks at the fire and rests.

The Circle of Fortitude (Fortitudinis) is slightly closer, a training ground. A circle where angels train not their bodies, but their spirits. This place is like a desert of white sand, beneath which lie ancient ruins. From time to time, ghostly shadows rise from the sand, representing challenges that must be overcome without resorting to force. Angels come here to learn how to endure pain, fear, and doubt. There are no teachers here; only you and your shadow, which sometimes transforms into a demon. No one lives here permanently. But all angels from blue to black are required to pass through this circle once every thousand years. When Azazel was on the verge of falling, Aphael brought her here, and they passed through it together.

The Circle of Justice (Iustitiae) is the distribution of souls. A hall with a giant scale on which the deeds of the dead are weighed before their soul enters the corresponding circle. The scale is not made of metal, but of pure light. The scales themselves attract good and evil deeds. Judicial angels sit nearby. There are no emotions here, only facts. Even Atropos, when he brings the soul, waits at the threshold and does not interfere. If the soul is too heavy (evil), the scales go out, and Atropos takes it to hell. If it is too light (good), the scales light up, and the soul is led to the Palace.

The Circle of Wisdom (Sapientiae) is the libraries. An endless library where all the words and thoughts ever spoken are stored. The shelves go up and up, and instead of stairs there are flying platforms. The books turn themselves when someone walks by. In the center is a well from which light rises: it is a stream of new knowledge coming from the Earth. The angels of this circle are scholars, chroniclers, and those who translate dreams into writings.

The Circle of Chastity (Castitatis) is the Glass Lake. A huge lake with absolutely clear water, which is frozen like glass. You can walk on it. The sky is reflected on the surface, and beneath it is an endless depth where you can see white flowers (lilies, lotuses). The angels of this circle are the youngest, just created, or the souls of those who died without sin. There is no noise here, only the sound of drops falling from the invisible vaults. If you put your hand in the water, it won't get wet, but you'll feel warm. They say it's the tears of the Allfather, shed when Lumina died.

The Circle of Mercy (Misericordiae) is the garden of forgiveness. A garden where trees bloom, but instead of leaves, they have small white crosses. Each cross represents a prayer that someone has offered for another person. The angels of this circle take care of the garden, and if a prayer is answered, the cross transforms into a flower. The atmosphere is peaceful, but not sad, rather serene. In the center, there is a spring of holy water that is distributed to other circles. If you take a cross from a tree and whisper the name of the person you want to ask for forgiveness, the cross will fly back to its place. But you can only do this once a year.

The Circle of Tears (Lacrimarum) is special. This circle is located on the border between Heaven and Purgatory. There is no gold or marble here. Only soft, silvery grass that rustles like a whisper, and a river of crystal-clear water, the River of Tears. The water does not flow, but rather slowly cascades, reflecting the faces of everyone who has ever cried with genuine emotion. On the banks of the river lies an endless field dotted with crosses of various sizes. This is the Valley of the Crosses. Each cross is a memory of a soul that Atropos led to Paradise. The heavier a person's burden, the larger the cross. In the center of the field, there is a lone stone where Atropos sometimes sits, gazing at the water. Crows circle above the river, but they do not caw, as even the birds are silent out of respect. Only Atropos and his ravens come here. Occasionally, other angels come to pray for the fallen or simply to be in silence. But they don't stay long; the silence here is too profound.

The Circle of Warriors (Castrorum) is the heart of the Heaven's army. An endless plain covered with very short, stiff grass that looks ash-white. The sky is always covered with a light fog, not gloomy, but like the haze after a morning battle. Black spires are scattered across the field, sharp as spears and pointing upwards. These are not buildings, but natural formations made of frozen lava of light (the remnants of an ancient battle). At the edge of the circle, it snows. Here, the spires turn into black mountains with carved-out barracks and arsenals. In the center of the field is the Eternal Fire, where the white angels take their oath. The legions always train here, but there is no complete silence—only the sound of swords and commands. All military ranks, from white to black, live here. Aphael visits often, but his office is on the border of the upper circles. Azazel trains recruits on the Ash Field. Varahiel keeps a field infirmary at the foot of one of the spires.

The Circle of Gratitude (Gratiarum) is a clearing in front of the Palace. The smallest circle, but the most important. It's just a clearing with soft grass, where the only trees in Paradise with fruits grow — apple trees. Apples are not here for food, but for gratitude: if you want to thank the Allfather for something, you pick an apple and put it under a tree. After a minute, the apple disappears, and a white flower appears in its place. The meadow is always full of flowers. There are no buildings or paths here — just grass, trees and the sky, which is always clear. It is forbidden to speak loudly here, and even the angels communicate in whispers or by gestures. If you pick a flower from a meadow and give it to another angel, it is considered the highest form of respect. Azazel has never given a flower to anyone except Aphael. He keeps it in his office.

The Palace of the All-Father (Domus Patris) is the peak. Outside, there is a majestic building made of white stone, with columns carved with scenes of the creation of the world. The dome stretches into infinity, and stars twinkle on it, visible only when looking up. However, the interior is modest. There is no gold or jewels. Instead, there are smooth stone floors, tall windows without glass (allowing the wind to blow in with the scent of flowers), and a simple wooden altar in the center. There are two benches next to the altar: one for the Allfather, and the other for Lumen. The Allfather almost never sits on His bench; instead, He walks around the hall or stands by the window, gazing at the circles of Heaven and Earth. When someone enters to pray, He becomes invisible, but He leaves a sign, such as a shooting star or an owl feather on the altar. Lumen's private chambers are located in the left wing. The right wing houses the Council Chamber, where the Black Orders and the Seraphim gather. But the Allfather is almost never present in person; He listens through the walls.
HEAVEN'S ARMY RANKS (rated by colors of their uniform):
White - common soldiers and warriors.

Blue - Sergeants/Officers. "Celestial" or "Heralds of Order". Blue is the color of the sky and the law. They manage small units.
Black: Lieutenants and the top. "The Close Ones," "The Silent," or "The Shadow-Bearers." Black in Heaven is not evil, but the color of the unfathomable depth of God's vision and knowledge of secrets. They evoke a sacred awe in the white angels.
Grey: Chancellery. "Chroniclers" or "Archivists of Fate." Gray is neutrality between battles and eternity. They have no combat wings, but they have access to all knowledge.
