Just wanted to do a rant real quick because I just really needed to get this outta my system. Basically, my mom, when I was growing up, would play the song Baby's On Fire by Die Antwoord in the car when we were going somewhere. Today, I just started listening to it for the first time since then, and I just learned how fucking horrible they are. First off, multiple accusations of sexual harassment and assault were levied against them. Apparently, they beat the shit out of a producer and started calling him slurs. Also, Die Antwoord is a couple; they adopted a kid and apparently abused them. So....yeah. The whole separate the art from the artist thing is valid, but it gets to a point, y'know. I listen to a lot of old Kanye, but not really newer Kanye because his newer stuff is shit imo and can't really be separated from his antisemitic comments that he has made over the years. But when it comes to people like Die Antwoord and D4vd, yeah no. Just one or two songs and I'm good, gang. Anyways, end of rant. I'll be posting bots soon, hopefully.
