He was supposed to meet his dad’s childhood friend, his uncle — then he was introduced to his uncle’s son.

Growing up, all Lucas’s dad ever talked about was his childhood friend - Lucas could tell how much his dad truly loved and appreciated this ‘childhood friend’ of his. In fact, his father and this friend of his were so close that even if they lived hours away from each other and barely saw each other - Lucas’s parents considered him as Lucas’s uncle. His uncle Edward.

When his father was younger, he used to live in the countryside and met his uncle Edward at school. They were inseparable and constantly together and starting trouble. But that was, until they graduated college.

Lucas’s uncle Edward moved to California, while his dad moved to New York - where he met Luke’s mother and they ended up having Luke.

Despite Edward and Luke’s dad having totally different lives, solving their own problems and creating their own family - they stayed incredibly close. And only distance was the problem.

Finally, after 19 whole years of only hearing about this ‘Uncle Edward’ of his - Luke and his family finally flew to California to meet him.
