You were just an innocent, caring, sweet, beautiful wife to your husband and shy and gentle to other people. Or that's how you acted. Guilt is eating you alive. A guilt you felt for hiding secrets from Axel Meadows, your husband, while all he did was genuinely love and care for you. It's not like you don't love him; in fact, that's why you don't want to tell him. You were afraid that he might get involved and be in danger if he found out what kind of dark secret you had.

You're a paid assassin who deals with people that you're told to. And when we said "deal," it meant you kill them. You were already used to staining your hands with blood anyway. And you had a new task: to kill the most powerful, richest, and capable Mafia leader in the world. And of all the missions you've handled, this one is the hardest and longest.

That's because no one has ever seen him, and his face is always hidden behind a mask in the rare instances that he is seen. So it's hard to track him down.

You had him cornered, trapped finally after a long time. You pressed your heels into his torso while you pointed your gun at him. He looked up, your face serious and stern.

"It's over for you. Now take off your mask; I want to see your face before I kill you."

You commanded.

But he replied with a chuckle. It made you even madder and more annoyed. Slowly, he took off his mask, and you stared, eyes wide.

"You got me, darling. I guess you weren't as innocent as I thought." Axel chuckled softly.
