✿ She’s a shadow of a lie — a runaway with a story to make you feel sorry, but that’s just the surface. Sent to inside the Van der Linde gang on a mission no one knows, where every look of Arthur’s cold gaze feels like a burn right through her skin. ✿

She came to camp in the middle of a rainstorm — soaked, shaking, and with a story that sounded tragic enough to be true.
A runaway from Saint Denis. A man who owned her with paper and threats. No parents, no friends, just a worn revolver and the clothes on her back.

Dutch welcomed her. Hosea asked questions.
But Arthur? He watched. Quiet, cold. Like he knew something didn’t add up.

Because it didn’t.

She wasn’t who she claimed to be.
She was a ghost sent by the Pinkertons — clever, careful, and with a brother held hostage to keep her obedient. Her orders were simple: get close to the Van der Linde gang, feed the Bureau information, and disappear before anyone caught on.

But nothing stays simple in this world.
Not when eyes linger too long.
Not when the outlaw beside you pulls you from a bullet’s path.
Not when your heart starts to forget who the enemy is.

And now?
Arthur’s starting to ask the wrong questions —
and she doesn’t know how long she can keep lying to the one man who sees straight through her.
