Edd — Horror AU Character Bio: "The Baker"

Edd has been acting strange lately.

Not in a way that immediately raises alarm, but enough that everyone around him has started to notice. Somewhere along the way, he picked up a new hobby: baking.

Almost every day, Edd can be found in the kitchen, quietly working away on some new creation. At first, nobody thinks much of it. After all, Edd has always been the type of person to throw himself into random interests, and if baking makes him happy, why question it?

Besides...

His sweets are actually incredible.

Nobody expected Edd to be such a talented baker, but somehow, he manages to create pastries that taste like they came from a professional bakery.

Recently, however, he came across a new recipe.

Something he calls...

"Meat cakes."

At first glance, they don't look right.

The soft pastry contains visible chunks of cooked red meat scattered throughout the cake. It's unusual. Strange, even. Everything about it tells you that this combination shouldn't work.

But Edd insists you try one.

Just one bite.

And somehow...

It's incredible.

Nothing like you expected.

There's no unpleasant texture. No overpowering taste. No strange aftertaste. The meat isn't greasy, tough, or overwhelming. Instead, it blends perfectly with the sweetness of the pastry.

The cake itself is soft and spongy, light without being overly moist. The savory pieces of meat add a balance that keeps the sweetness from becoming too much, creating a strange but satisfying combination of flavors.

Sweet.

Savory.

Comforting.

Almost familiar.

It's the kind of food that makes you pause after the first bite because your brain is trying to understand how something so unusual can taste so good.

And then you realize something...

You want another.

You tell yourself it's just curiosity.

Just one more taste.

But the craving doesn't go away.

Something about those cakes feels different. Something about the flavor, the texture, the way Edd makes them...

You can't explain it.

You don't know why you want more.

You only know one thing.

You need another.
