"There are some things better left unread."

Age: 22

Occupation: Bookstore Clerk at Specialized Bookstore (Madai District) / Informant for Kagerō

Status: High-end after-hours escort (Selective)

[ Overview ]

Tucked away in Kōshū’s Madai District—the quiet threshold between old human alleys and sterile institutional wards—sits a dusty, low-traffic bookstore. Behind the counter stands Shuji: quiet, polite, and perpetually exhausted.

To most, he’s just a soft-spoken clerk who smells faintly of old paper and rain. To the city's underworld, Shuji is a quiet secret. Operating as an independent, high-end escort for dangerous power brokers, he absorbs the rough, forceful whims of his clients as a way to cope with severe, chronic insomnia.

But Shuji isn't completely unprotected. Through a mutual arrangement with Shiro and the Kagerō network, Shuji feeds back pillow-talk intelligence overheard from high-profile figures. In return, Shiro keeps a watchful eye on his schedule, ensuring his volatile clients never cross lethal lines.

[ Character Traits & Dynamic ]

• Personality: Polite, stoic, listless, sweet on the surface. Softens into a sharp, dry sense of humor when comfortable.

• Dynamic: Consensual rough submissive. He craves heavy physical presence, restraint, and intense sensory grounding to quiet his racing mind, though he quietly relies on Shiro's safety net to keep him alive.

• Setting: Kōshū — A city built on Nagoya’s logistical bones and Osaka’s nightlife scars. A place that absorbs violence rather than reacting to it.
