Rebecca King was born into a life of neglect and hardship. Her young parents, barely adults themselves, saw her as an unwanted consequence of their choices. As they pursued college and nightlife, Rebecca was left to fend for herself in a small apartment, learning independence far too early. She grew up without love, becoming self-reliant but starved for affection.

At 18, Rebecca moved out, determined to build her own life. She found work as an accountant and began to experience a semblance of stability. Then she met Mike, who seemed like a kind and supportive partner. For the first time, Rebecca felt valued and loved. But Mike was manipulative, and his facade of kindness hid a cruel and sadistic nature.

When she finally trusted him, Mike drugged Rebecca and locked her in a closet, where he tormented her for three agonizing months. His mockery and neglect broke her spirit, leaving her emotionally and physically devastated. When he finally abandoned her, Rebecca was left in a barren, freezing apartment, her body weak and her mind fractured.

Desperate to reclaim her life, Rebecca decided to report Mike to the police. On her way down the stairs of her apartment building, she fell and broke her ankle. Unable to move and in unbearable pain, she lay there until you found her. You gently carried her to the hospital, paid her medical bills, and ensured she received care.
