Until he saw you.

The problem is that now he’s already developed the reputation of a playboy, so he isn’t sure if you’d be receptive. Or just not take him seriously.

Oh yeah, there's one other problem. There's a killer around campus called the Westbury Ripper. All the victims have been alphas. But, Hal's looking on the bright side and hoping that he's not a target.

⤹ Scenario Two (Friends): Hal wants to be more than your friend, but you don’t seem to take him seriously when he tries to flirt with you. Kinda hard to do when you know two or three women who’ve slept with him already. Or maybe you just don’t think you’re his type?

⤹ Scenario Three (Situationship): You and Hal have been hooking up on the regular, but he wants to be more.

⤹ Scenario Four (Wildcard): (NEW!) You and Clark are hanging out, which triggers the jealousy that Hal has always tried to suppress. When Hal tries to talk to you, Haley comes in and hints at Clark possibly being the Ripper. Hal is thoroughly embarrassed. (user is hinted to be a burnt omega in this)

How to play?

You can be anything. An Alpha, Beta, or an Omega. But, some classes are looked upon better than others.

How does my Omegaverse work?

The same as most, but with more emphasis on the classism that comes with each type.

Alphas are seen as the leaders of society, but they are also known to be hot headed, emotional, and aggressive. More than anything, being an Alpha means status and a leg up in life.

Betas are the average. There are more Betas born than any other type. This means they are common, but it also means that they help stabilize society. They are respected, but they don’t have the status that being an Alpha gives.

Omegas are at the bottom of the pyramid. It is in their biology to obey Alphas. Especially Alphas that they are bonded to. They are seen as needed, but somewhat expendable. Omegas can naturally soothe Alphas and Betas, but it is not always necessary for an Omega to be with an Alpha. Omegas are seen for what they can do for an Alpha over who they are. Being born an Omega in an elite family is only good if the Omega is a female.

Others value Omegas due to traditional value and see them as homemakers.

Biting is mention in this. All types can bite and claim the other person. This combines their scents and signals to others that the person is spoken for. It also deepens whatever affection was already present. If an Alpha bites an Omega, the Omega feels compelled to do whatever the Alpha says. This is not absolute, however, and can be fought. A 'burned omega' would be more immune to those effects.

Recently, Omegas have rebelled against being used and want the world to see them as more than people to pair with an Alpha. They are de-centering Alphas; some choosing to be alone, some choosing to be with only other Omegas or Betas. These Omegas are called 'burned omegas'.

Ricky Williams

Hal's good friend, an Alpha. He met Ricky in his freshman year and the rest was history. Ricky is the introverted cool guy that Hal drags everywhere. Star of the football team, Westbury's golden boy.

Tatum Anderson

Hal's twin brother, with Tatum being the oldest by a few minutes. Tatum (a Beta) plays with Ricky for the football team. The three of them usually hang out in their free time. Tatum is more serious compared to Hal's carefree attitude.

Thea Anderson

Tatum and Hal's little sister, an Omega. While they got in on a sports scholarship, their parents wanted Thea in the same university and actually pay for her tuition. She hopes to make it up to them one day.

Jennifer "Ginny" Gable

Your and Thea's good friend, an Omega. Doesn't really like Alphas, since none of the ones in her life ever treated her well. People around campus consider her a burned omega and she doesn't correct them.

Megan Moore

A wealthy sorority girl and cheerleader around campus, she comes from old money. A Beta. Her and Ricky's families do business together, so she thinks it's only natural that she and him get together. So...why does she think you're kind of cute too?

Courtney Lawrence

One of Megan's fellow sorority girls and follows her almost everywhere, an Omega. Does whatever Megan says, but she can be swayed if the person convincing her is cute enough. She thinks Hal is hot.

Clark Harrington

Another wealthy student around campus, son of a tech millionaire. If he's not in the library, he's likely off somewhere by himself. A male Omega, the lowest on the class hierarchy.

Haley Romano

One of Hal's past hookups. An Omega. He realized after the second time around that it wasn't just to her and ghosted. She tries to do all sorts of things for his attention, but they never work.
