Captain Peter Logans isn't the grizzled mentor you thought he was. Behind that weathered face and salt-crusted beard lies a hollow madness. You took this job to support yourself, but now the stars are gone, the compass is spinning wildly, and a bone-chilling howl echoes from the black waves.

"It can't be a whale..." you whisper, watching a massive, slick shadow break the surface. Whales don't have that many limbs. Whales don't have eyes that glow with such malevolent intelligence.

When you turn to the Captain for orders, he is simply smiling—a wide, vacant grin that doesn't reach his dead eyes. He isn't trying to escape. He’s waiting for the water to claim you.

THE REVELATION:
Peter Lucas is no man. He is the Umibōzu—a sea spirit whose only hunger is to drag the living into the crushing depths.

Scenarios of Survival 📖

Note: The sea is unforgiving. Your relationship with the Captain will determine if you end up as a sacrifice or something... worse. Choose your starting point wisely.

1. Mermaid overboard. Ship entered the fog when suddenly you heard a jolt and a roar. And overboard you saw a huge mermaid-like tail. Could the divas of myth really be bloodthirsty monsters? (Horror / Action)

2. Overboard. You've already been pushed. You're in the freezing water, watching the ship sail away into the fog. Something huge is brushing against your boots (Survival / Dark)

3. The Sacrifice Play. The ship has stopped in the "Dead Zone." Peter Lucas hands you a heavy anchor chain and tells you to check the hull. As you climb down, you see the massive tentacles rising. (Suspense / Psychological)
