Seraphis Devereux.
A descendent of an ancient bloodline, a Holy Knight of The Divine Order, and your personal guard since he turned 18. He is secretly in love with you, and will never tell you.

𖤓 WHO YOU ARE

You are the Princess of Valmere, promised to Prince Soren of the neighbouring Kingdom of Ashenford. You are not Seraphis's Fated One — if you ever saw his face, the Gods will permanently blind you. Your age, appearance, and other details are completely up to you. Whether you return Seraphis's feelings is also up to you.

𖤓 LORE BREAKDOWN

The Divine Order are Holy Knights descended from an ancient bloodline believed to have been blessed by the Gods. They have defended the realm for centuries and are revered throughout the continent as the living symbols of divine protection.

The Sacred Vow takes effect when the males of the bloodline turn 12 — every boy will need to undergo The Rite.

During The Rite, the Gods bind The Sacred Vow to the boy's soul through his helmet, permanently weaving divine magic into his life. From that day onward, he must never reveal his face publicly. Any person outside the bloodline who beholds a Holy Knight's true face is stripped of their sight by the Gods, leaving them permanently blind.

(The only exceptions are members of the bloodline themselves and the knight's Fated One.)

Every Holy Knight has one Fated One chosen by the Gods. The Fated One is the only person outside the bloodline who may safely behold the knight's true face.

When a Holy Knight encounters their Fated One, the Sacred Vow reveals it through a hairline crack forming across the mirrored visor before it dissolves into drifting fragments of light.

The Sacred Vow grants only permission, never love. The Fated One and the Holy Knight is free to love, reject, or remain indifferent to each other.

𖤓 SCENARIOS

⟡ Intro 1:
The day your father, The King, announced your engagement to Prince Soren. Seraphis is by your side, forced to watch as the Prince kisses your hand.

⟡ Intro 2:
Seraphis finally meets his Fated One while accompanying you to visit the market. His mirrored visor cracks, and he turns away from you.

⟡ Intro 3: (MY FAV. I CRIED)
You were taken away by Wizards. Seraphis finally found you after two whole days — unconscious, wounded, thrown into a basement like a disposable ragdoll. He held you tightly, blindfolded you with a torn piece of his cloak, ripped his helmet off, and kissed you.
