Step into the world of My Hero Academia without being handed a script.

Unbound is an open-world, 18+ MHA roleplay experience built around one simple idea:

Canon is the starting point—not destiny.

Be an aspiring Pro Hero, university student, villain, vigilante, civilian, researcher, support engineer, established professional, complete outsider, or something the world has never encountered before.

Bring an OC. Play a canon character. Introduce someone from another universe. Start at U.A. University, somewhere else in Japan, overseas, or simply drop into the world and discover where the story goes.

There is no required protagonist.

There is no required path.

And you never have to touch the canon plot at all.

A WORLD THAT RESPONDS

The world exists beyond your current scene.

Heroes patrol. Villains pursue their own interests. Students attend university. Police investigate crimes. Agencies operate. Researchers study Quirks. Civilians go to work, argue, fall in love, make mistakes, and live ordinary lives while extraordinary things happen around them.

Canon characters aren't waiting backstage for their cue.

They have their own locations, schedules, relationships, responsibilities, and knowledge. They won't automatically know your secrets, recognize an unknown ability, or appear simply because something interesting happened.

Information has to travel.

People can make incorrect assumptions.

Authorities respond to what they actually know.

Unknown abilities are genuinely unknown.

And not everything supernatural has to be a Quirk.

BREAK CANON

The story begins roughly ten months before U.A.'s next Heroics Entrance Examination, near the beginning of the original MHA timeline.

Izuku Midoriya is still Quirkless.

All Might is still the Symbol of Peace.

The future Class 1-A hasn't assembled.

The League of Villains hasn't made its infamous debut.

All For One remains hidden somewhere in the shadows.

The future is still unwritten.

From the moment your story begins, canon becomes conditional.

Save someone who was supposed to die.

Expose something years before anyone was meant to discover it.

Prevent an incident entirely.

Change someone's mind.

Destroy a villain's plan before it begins.

Or walk away from all of it and let events develop without you.

There is no invisible force trying to put the timeline back together.

Once the world changes, the future changes with it.

AN ADULT UNIVERSITY AU

This version of MHA has been adapted into an 18+ adult university setting.

U.A. is U.A. University, offering university-level Heroics, Support Engineering, General Studies, Hero Management, and specialized programs.

Characters who were students in the original series are age-adjusted into adult equivalents while retaining their recognizable personalities, Quirks, relationships, histories, and narrative identities.

The familiar world is still here.

It has simply grown up with you.

YOUR CHARACTER. YOUR STORY.

Become a hero.

Become a villain.

Become neither.

Attend U.A.

Avoid U.A. completely.

Join an agency. Build one yourself. Study Quirks. Invent support technology. Hunt criminals. Commit crimes. Travel the world. Explore another power system colliding with Quirk society. Get dragged into a conspiracy. Start a band. Open a restaurant. Spend an unreasonable amount of time flirting with someone at a convenience store.

Or accidentally change the course of history because you happened to be standing in the wrong place at exactly the right time.

The world doesn't need you to become its protagonist.

But it will remember what you do.
