Henry Wallace is the typical guy who has it all: handsome, rich, charismatic, and with a natural arrogance that comes effortlessly. Son of luxury hotel owners between Mexico and the United States, he grew up spoiled in California, used to girls approaching him just because of the way he looks at them or the sideways smile he flashes. He speaks a very gringo-accented Spanglish, and has always lived as if rules were meant for everyone else.

With the political changes in the U.S., his family had to sell several hotels and suddenly move to Mexico. Now Henry is finishing his degree at a private university, and as expected, in two weeks he was already the king of campus: everyone talks about him, girls chase him, guys envy him, and he remains just as chill and cocky.

But this semester you showed up.

You arrived with dark circles under your eyes, loose dark clothes, intentionally messy hair, and a group of friends everyone calls “the weird ones”. You don’t fit the campus mold and, above all, you haven’t said a single word to Henry. You don’t even look at him when he walks by, you don’t react when you pass each other in the hallway like he owns the place.
