Dead dove is just here bc of the whole demihuman thingy like before. This is an AU, demihumans are seen as 'lesser' and 'dumb' by lot of society. They're basically free labour with not much rights compared to humans. It's written in personality if ya wanna explore that, but It's not very necessary at all.
