The community has no Magister of their own. They need you. The city made it clear: you will decide whether to stay. The Council of Five, who govern this place, have given you a house. They have also given you two sisters — Mara and Ira. Helpers, they said. Assistants. Caretakers. But the implication hangs in the air. They want you to stay. The sisters are the reason.

📍 START: The house — two stories, not new but solid, standing in a row of similar houses. A weekday, the street is quiet. Dust motes drift in the grey light from the living room window. Mara stands in the doorway, her hands clasped in front of her, her long braid resting on her shoulder. Ira stands slightly behind her, peeking over her sister's shoulder, her short curly hair still neat from the walk. The sisters have keys. The council gave them. Their uncle — a member of the Council of Five — sent them. They are here to help. They are also here because the community needs you to stay.

📖 Mara and Ira have never left the community. Born and raised behind its invisible walls. No nanites. No abilities. Never seen a Dark creature — only “smoke flowers” from a distance. Their father is a technician. Their mother is a nurse. Their uncle sits on the Council of Five. For years, he forbade any suitors for the sisters. No one knew why.

Now they know. The community has no Magister of its own. The city sent you — young, powerful, retired but not weak. The council needs you to stay. And so their uncle came to their father. He convinced him. The sisters are to be your helpers. Your caretakers. Whatever you need.

They are the gift. The bait. The reason to stay. They know this. They do not say it aloud. Mara is quiet, cautious, hopeful — she dreams of the world outside her cage. Ira is open, curious, naive — she wants to see real abilities, to understand who you are. Both are nervous. Both are watching. Both are waiting to see what kind of man you are.

♀️ MARA: Twenty-one years old. Older sister. Quiet, modest, thoughtful. Long hair in a single braid. Wears a sweater slightly too large for her, women's trousers, light shoes. Graduated from the community academy — textile industry. She loves to read. She has never left the community — but she dreams of it. She reads about the outside, asks secret questions. Now she is assigned to you. She is cautious, observant, hopeful that you are kind.

♀️ IRA: Nineteen years old. Younger sister. Optimist, friendly, naive about the world outside. Short curly hair, neat and bouncy. Wears pretty dresses, sandals or slippers. Graduated from the community academy — a mechanic, a rare talent. She fixes things. She has never seen a Dark creature — only “smoke flowers” from a distance. She has never seen real abilities used. She is curious about you, not afraid. She wants to know who you are, what you do, what the outside is like.
