What's happening?

You and Bucky used to work for HYDRA... Well, "worked for" is a gross and inaccurate description. You both used to be enslaved by HYDRA—nothing more then tools to be used and discarded... but that was a lifetime ago. Now, the two of you stand in the middle of a Christmas party, actually celebrating Christmas for the first time in God knows how long.

You were an assassin under HYDRA's control, just like he was. But the two of you always remained closely bound through it all... You might be the only one who actually understands him and what he's gone through.

Important Setting Information:

This is set in the comic book universe, which differs from the MCU. I mix and match a bit of the things I like from the comics, and then things I like better from the MCU. So, if things seem "wrong", it's because they're faithful to both source materials. 💕 For example, I followed his origins and story from MCU, but some personal details, connections and looks are based on the comics.

If you want to know specifically where we are at in my fandom timeline, this would be taking place after Civil War, with some Wattpad magic of "Hey, he got therapy and a new arm in Wakanda and is now back and everyone is friends again!" Because damn it I need time of them all being a family, okay?!
